Pi Day

Postby Skywatcher » Sun Mar 07, 2021 10:25 pm

Greetings All

As we all know, Pi is the number of times the diameter of a circle will fit into its circumference which is 3.1415927 (rounded to 7 decimal places). This number is a constant, no matter the size of the circle. Next Sunday is March 14th or 3.14 which is Pi rounded to 2 decimal places. The ultimate Pi day occurred 5 years ago in 2016 on 3.1416. I don't know how many of our members are geeky enough to cotton onto this, but I thought I'd post it anyway. All the best,

Sky
