For giggles, I looked up the carb thinking if it's cheap enough, I'd try it. But I ran into a problem.

The parts list appears to be opposite of what I'm looking at on the machine. There's one carb for a primer set up and one for choke. I have the one with the primer but my date code says I should have the other. Not my main problem because it is what it is.

However, I was able to find some cheap aftermarkets for the primer one that lines up with the part number but they don't appear to have a primer inlet. In fact, they have no choke or primer inlet that I can see in the photos. The one I have has a primer inlet right next to the fuel inlet.

Looks like the OEM's are discontinued. I think I may have hit a wall on the carb.

The two numbers I'm looking at are
496114 - primer set up
494217 - choke set up
