Strange you mention leaf blowers.
My old one is getting a little long in the tooth. I may replace it this summer.
I use one a lot. Blowing grass off side walks, blowing out my shop and cleaning off the riding mower and deck. If the grass was damp/wet, then its the water hose.

Both of mine were "garbage can finds" One needed the starter rope replaced and the second needed the high speed adjusted !!

My poor neighborhood can't afford doctors and lawyers. We don't get many generous sidewalk donations. We wear stuff out, clear up to the nub.
