tecumseh carburetor change

i have a small sears generator dad bought in 72
it's got a 3hp engine and still runs pretty good, model 143.611052
what would be the chance that i could graft on a carburetor like the one below

Stens carburetor # 520-918 should bolt on, no modification needed except maybe the choke lever. Just bolted one onto a 1970's Troy-Bilt Junior with a Tecumseh engine and the choke lever wouldn't quite clear the air filter. Hope this points you in the right direction,

I am not able to open the link you provided. (Is anyone else having this problem?) Over the years I have bought some of the aftermarket (China) replacement carbs for Tecumsehs on eBay for like $ 15.00 shipped. I have bought them for the H25, H30 (3 HP) and HS-40. It is kind of hit and miss with the China carbs, as about 50% of the time they do not run properly out of the box or they run fine then starting leaking within a short time. The other 50% have served me well.Just curious why the need for a "new" carb? Can you rebuild the old one or have you tried that and it is still not working correctly?

It does seems that the OP is trying to pick a fight or just trying to be a harasser.

First it is likely that a modified intake manifold would need to be made and even then there is no guarantee that fuel to air ratio are going to be correct. Beside that custom linkages would need to be made.

This is completely experimental and can be dangerous since LP gas is involved if not properly.
