Valve Lash for Briggs

Postby bob » Wed Dec 22, 2021 11:03 am

Can someone verify what the Exhaust Valve lash is for a Briggs and Stratton 252707 (11HP Flathead). Intake is .005 - .007 which the internet seems to agree on but I am getting either .003 - .005 or .009 - .011 for the exhaust. Thanks

According to spec I have posted in the Briggs service info in the Download section it is .009-.011.

It is definitely .009"-.011" in every repair manual I have ever seen (and I have many).

That fine if you don't want the updated engine spec chart with all the noted changes to the specs. I have made multiple notes on the one I have posted in the downloads here.
