I was not on the puter for a long time so I missed the move over to this forum from PERR.
I also missed the chance at posting my entry for the board logo. So I'll post it now, just for fun...



This banner I have in the same size as the one at the top of the forum but it would not let me post it over 600 pixels wide....

Hmmm. quite nice... Looks very good to me, too.

Might just have to see what other members think.. always nice to have spare logos handy to change things up now and then, keeps board from being visually boring But then, there's some people that hate any kind of change.... hehehe

How about adding a Go-kart and mini-bike to the logo? I'd bet that there are lots of members/visitors (still) into them.

Looks fine to me, it is quite bright and portrays the commonest subjects raised on here without being to crowded.

Got one for you that might be do-able - Rank Images 100px wide x 40px high done up to represent Certification or status levels:

Briggs MST
Kohler Certified
Kohler Expert
EETC Certification (Any)
EETC Master (Completed all Certs)
Stihl Bronze
Stihl Silver
Stihl Gold
NAEDA Association Member
a generic "Professional"
and a "Professional (Retired)"

Also, a "PPETEN Sponsor" badge,an "Educator" badge, and a "Student" badge

and any others that can be thought up
- Looking at adding some more features to the forum, with rank badges (up to 5) per user.. but gonna need some images to go with it ..
Of course, they can't infringe anybody's copyrights (Thinking about contacting all the above to get permissions)

You will have to give me a while to work on them. We are already busy in the shop, so my time on the computer has been cut waaay down. I will try to work on them when I have time.
