I had a call from a New Brunswick dealer, his customers are complaining their new snow blowers are quitting and won't restart right away. One brought his machine in, they discovered the air box packed with snow. The operator was burying the machine, probably trying to go too fast, and the drift was falling back over the machine and being sucked into the intake. This appears to be the common problem. They are going to fab some drift cutters, can't buy any, and see if that helps. Another installed a smaller auger pulley to speed the impeller up, the snow was not clearing the bank. No telling how long the bearings will last. You easterners are going to be REALLY glad to see spring.
