I don't have time to watch it now, but thanks for the post, Okie.

I used to work with a man, when I was a tool and die maker, who made beautiful knives from old band saw blades. Like at least 1/8" thick and 1 1/2" wide. The blades were on saws that cut steel down to rough sizes for the die work. In other words, tough steel blades. He would put the handle on in rough form and shape the blade and handle as one. He would never show anyone the entire process or teach them.
