I find it interesting that a new Genuine Honda Carburetor 16100-Z9L-811 not much more money than the jet cleaning tool.

And they are basically cutting torch tip cleaners. Now of you are paying for Japanese precision.

But here lately it been clogs deep inside the carbs that cant be removed. At least Honda is low cost on the replacement carbs.

Hi SUKI.

Right now I'm trying to decide between the cleaner kit and a new factory carburetor.

What are the chances that the idle jet is perfectly normal and that all replacement carburetors will have the same idle jet?

Chances of idle jet being perfectly normal/clean in your carb? Likely very low. (Rather rare to find a pristine jet in a carb that is having issues) Chances the same jet will be in replacement carbs? Depending on age, I'd say also fairly low, if the part number has changed from its original, but if the same part number as originally issued, then it'll be the same jets.

I ordered the jet cleaning kit. Turns out being a very expensive tool for what it is.
