Toro snow thrower electric starter

Postby jwales » Tue Jan 21, 2025 2:23 pm

I have fixed up an old model38516 toro single stage snow thrower for a family member. Leaned the carb and Ava met, new paddle, scraper kit. The unit runs great. It has electric starter and it turns but the brass gears on it are worn out. Toro says starter and/or gear assembly not available. Any idea if after market is? I have it bee able to find one on google.
Thanks, Joe

Appears to be Briggs 801410 120VAC Starter.

The following is one supposedly in stock and with the pricing it would be an after market version
