Tag numbers Product 289820 o8o911c005146 Kohler engine MFG Jul 2011 (on engine cover). Owner was cutting along run over something and it never restarted. I found the wireing harness under the battery box sorta mangled up. I spliced wires back together. Replaced missing solenoid. Ground wire we dangeling I hooked battery ground to engine, another ground to frame and small wire by solnoid bolted up with solenoid. This is a three post solenoid. All safety switches work, I replaced left turning stick switch. I can hear the fuel solenoid click and the PTO will engage and tested good. I have power going thru both fuses. Fuses checked good. Key switch good. Oh and electricity I'm not good at it.

EDIT: Just not getting fire at the solenoid.

Ideas please and thanks for the help.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I recouping an Afib attack. Got extremely mad over the weekend when a pack of dogs killed 12 of my chickens. I found who the owner was Wednesday and told his Father what was going to happen with them if they come back period. But since I have Afib I did know that getting mad would upset it so ended up in the hoursepital Wednesday getting the 170 bpm back down then the BP crashed. Getting better now but I must control my temper.

You said the customer was using at the time of failure. Have you make sure the PTO switch is off? Easy to overlook with all the other problems you are resolving.

Glad your home from the Hospital, hope your back in the grove. Since you know the owner of the dogs if them were laying eggs hens I would value them at about $175.00 each. Yes the PTO switch is down. I got to thinking maybe I spliced 2 of the 4 yellow wires together mixed matched. Will check that later I rolled it in the corner for now. Thanks again your insight is always appreciated.
