Woods mower wire harness

Postby Mr Mower Man » Wed Jul 25, 2018 12:45 pm

Someone just gave me a model number of a Woods zero turn mower that they want a new wire harness for. The model number is D7221-3 (serial #748377). When I found a parts breakdown for that model, it just shows stuff related to the mower deck. I'm guessing the model number he gave me was a deck model, and he needs to get me the number off the tractor somewhere. Can any of you more familiar with Woods equipment confirm this hunch?

Can't say on the Woods as I haven't seen one but several of the larger John Deere riders of the past had separate deck model numbers. Even JD's 54 commercial walk behind was this way. But since you was able the deck by the number I would it is possible the mower itself has a different model number.

Years ago most all riders had a separate number for the deck and tractor
